LAUGHTERHOUSE COMEDY SET TO RAISE THE ROOF WITH AN EXCITING MAY LINE-UP!

This May prepare to have your sides split and your cheeks chortled as Liverpool’s No. 1 comedy experience unfurls a raft of great laughter nights across the city.

Kick-start your summer of fun this May with Laughterhouse Comedy, hosting a stonking 25 separate nights over the coming month and featuring over 50 comedic turns in the process. Comedians from the stand-up circuit as well as radio and TV jostle for their place in the line-up of this established organisation, and who can blame them?

Hosted at Fenwick Street’s The Slaughterhouse, The Slug and Lettuce on North John Street and The Blacklers Room on Great Charlotte Street, May’s events include a string of highlights and MCs to provide jokes-a-plenty.

Popular MCs Ste Porter and Chris Cairns regularly feature, plus appearances from the wonderful Neil Fitzmaurice that fans of The Office, Phoenix Nights and Peepshow will already be familiar with.

Friday 13th and Saturday 14th May comes alive in a haze of glitter and glam as out-there comedian Jonathan Mayor hits Liverpool. A riot on and off stage, Jonathan has been a hit on the alternative comedy scene across the North West, and his sharp wit and hilarious stand-up act is a sight to behold – in more ways than one! Joining him is Steve Shanyaski – a musical award-winning comedic talent with a penchant for all things silly, and Kevin Dewsbury – an observational comic with a bag of one-liners that will leave you wanting more.

Thursday 26th May welcomes former Hollyoaks and Casualty heartthrob, James Redmond, to the stage. No stranger to stage or screen, James embarked on a career in comedy only a few years ago, and has already experienced staggering success; notching up an impressive 350 gigs on his first two years.

Laughterhouse Comedy has also teamed up with MEET Argentina and The Slug and Lettuce to provide the perfect night’s entertainment with meal deals available at both restaurants before the show. All deals can be paid for in advance when booking comedy show tickets.
